I Wish That I Could Fly - Throughout Leybourne’s career the song is not mentioned in any of his notices. The composer and lyricist, Frank W. Egerton wrote songs intermittently for Leybourne between 1869 and the mid 1870’s. The cover is interesting for the fact that the basic body shape is also used by Concanen for Leybourne’s Poor Pill Garlic of 1873.
